Getting Started
ReviewReel uses your Google account for sign-in. Head to the login page and click "Continue with Google." No separate password required. Once signed in you will land on your dashboard, where all of your reels are organized.
Step 1: Find Your Google Review Link
Open Google Maps and navigate to your business listing. Find the review you want to feature, click the three-dot menu on the review, and select "Share review." Copy the link. The URL will look something like maps.app.goo.gl/... or a longer google.com/maps/reviews/... URL.
Step 2: Create a Reel
From your dashboard, click "Create Reel." Paste the Google review link into the input field and hit submit. ReviewReel will fetch the review details (reviewer name, star rating, and review text) automatically.
Step 3: Choose a Template
Pick from four professionally designed templates:
- Minimal - Clean white background with subtle accents. Great for professional services.
- Bold - Dark background with vivid amber highlights. Stands out in busy feeds.
- Gradient - Smooth violet-to-indigo color transitions. Modern and polished.
- Dark Mode - Sleek slate tones for a refined, understated look.
Step 4: Customize Your Reel
After selecting a template you can fine-tune the video. Edit the overlay text, tweak colors, and adjust the layout until the reel matches your brand. The live preview updates instantly so you can see changes in real time.
Step 5: Download and Share
When you are happy with the result, hit "Download." You will get an MP4 file optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook Stories. Upload it directly to your favorite platform and let your happy customers do the talking.
Pricing
Creating and previewing reels is completely free. You only pay when you download a finished video. See full details on our pricing page. There are two ways to download:
- Monthly subscription - $30/month includes 10 video downloads that renew each billing cycle.
- Single video purchase - Buy any individual video for $5. No subscription required.
Tips for Great Reels
- Choose reviews with specific details. "The pasta was incredible" beats "Great place."
- Five-star reviews with longer text make the most compelling videos.
- Post consistently. Sharing one review reel per week keeps your social profiles active.
- Match the template to your brand. Restaurants often suit Bold or Gradient; medical practices lean toward Minimal.
